  • For those of you who may not know, I lost my mom last week. On Monday morning 10 February at 9.30am she passed away peacefully in her sleep, and I lost my best friend and lighthouse. My heart aches for her. I know she's in a better place and that I'll see her again, but I cry for my own selfish reasons. I will never hear her voice or feel her hug me again. They say grief is love that has nowhere to go, and I understand this now. This week, we put her to rest and mourn the loss of the most incredible mother, whose love I got to know and feel for 38 years. I will be spending this week making final arrangements for her, and spending time with my family. Thank you to my clients for your understanding and my friends and colleagues who have been so generous over the past few days. Your kindness has touched my heart so much.
