The happiest day of your life deserves to be beautifully and elegantly designed.

We are in the business of bespoke wedding design and implementation. Our team is passionate about creating unique, memorable wedding experiences for our couples, and we take pride in the fact that no Oh Happy Day wedding is ever the same.

As designers, we strive to be unique and push creative boundaries. We spend time building relationships with our clients, getting to know them as a couple, and then find a way to design an event that is tailored to their personality as one. It’s for this reason that our weddings are always so unique.

I'm pretty obsessed with planning my next adventure.....and so is the rest of the OHD team🌞

Next year they're all off on their own adventures to Ireland, Mauritius and the UK (lucky girls!) Me? I'm not sure where I should visit next (or if it will even happen in 2020) but this pretty picture of Italy by @allybmartin on @away
has me pretty keen on another Euro Summer trip!
  • Last year, one of our brides booked a supplier we'd never heard of. Giving the supplier (a photographer) the benefit of the doubt (she was super affordable, new and everyone needs a starting point); and wanting our client to feel that we weren't influencing her decision making (it was her wedding, after all) we thought things would be okay and our client would be happy with the outcome.

Six months after the wedding our bride confided in me saying she WISHED she'd listened to our advice from the beginning because it took her months get her images (the photographer was unprofessional and pretty non-responsive) and when she got them, she absolutely hated them, and more than anything, it bummed her out that this was her only tangible memory of her whole wedding.

We often get asked : which wedding venue is the best / who's your favorite photographer / can you suggest a great caterer (and other vendor related questions). The real answer is we don't have favorites but rather encourage our clients to first think about their needs and expectations before making any final decisions.

When you're making choices about your wedding vendors you need to realize that you only get one shot at it. This is your wedding day, not a birthday party you can redo a year or so later.

We at Oh Happy Day prefer to recommend suppliers that we know personally and whose work (and service) we trust. That said, we're also open to trying out new vendors once we've researched and done our due diligence. Basically, we don't simply hire suppliers who offer great deals in the hopes of saving our clients some cash. In our opinion the most important values we look for in any supplier is a quality product and professional conduct. If that supplier comes in a bit under budget, then that's a bonus!

Here's my advice to you when choosing ANY supplier (including your planner): a) look at their credentials : website / articles online / etc
b) ask to see REAL examples of their work
c) ask around about their work. Have your friends heard of them or worked with them before?
d) request a list of past clients you can contact for referrals (this is a biggie)
